1. Ostrów Tumski in Poznań
Ostrów Tumski is the oldest part of the city with a powerful archcathedral basilica (Ostrów Tumski 17) inscribed in the panorama of Poznań for centuries. Its origins date back to the 10th century, when Mieszko I built a three-nave early Romanesque basilica next to the prince's palate.
