Energylandia. The largest amusement park in Poland. Check out the attractions!

Energylandia in Zator is currently the largest and at the same time the most modern amusement park in Poland. It was built on several dozen hectares. This place delights and triggers such adrenaline that it is hard to imagine without crossing the threshold of Energylandia! So if you do not know this Park yet, I strongly encourage you to visit it. The place is famous for rollercoasters, it will find real monsters in this matter, mega fast, long, with overloads, water, etc. But don't worry if roller coasters aren't your thing. There are so many different attractions here, you're sure to find plenty for yourself and your family!

Energylandia guarantees mega fun for the whole family, because it offers 6 diverse zones, where you will find dozens of attractions for people of all ages. Youngsters driving into Energylandia will surely be delighted, but a 3-year-old will also be saved here! 

With each year of attractions, a new, wonderful Aqualantis zone was created in 2021, and in 2022 the great Wonder Wheel mill wheel was built. Each year, the park significantly expands its offer. The colorful Water Park from Exotic Island impresses here - an extremely attractive and spectacular water zone under the cloud. Another Sweet Valley zone and a hotel zone are already being built near the Dragon's Fortress.

Energylandia - rollercoasters!

This is what Energylandia is most famous for. There are currently 15 of them here, a few in each zone. In Energylandia, there are also currently 2 world pearls in this field - the highest in Europe Hyperion and Zadra in Dragon's Nest - the world's highest wooden roller coaster. 

It is also worth mentioning the world's fastest Speed Water Coaster - a combination of a roller coaster and a water attraction ride. Passing under it, we sometimes get dewy 🙂 On July 14, 2021, Energylandia's 7th birthday, the Abyssus coaster was opened with a great acceleration to 100 km/h. It's the heart of the Aqualantis zone

Zones in Energylandia

Energylandia consists of several thematic zones, and their number is constantly growing, it is worth getting to know them all. We have checked a lot of them ourselves, although the most exciting ones are not for us 😉 ! Each zone offers a lot of attractions and not only roller coaster lovers will find great fun here and raise their adrenaline levels. See the Energylandia zones with their distinctive attractions!

Baikolandia in Energylnadia

The youngest children will find their place in Energylandia in the Baikalandia Zone, where specially constructed queues and other attractions will bring them unforgettable emotions and safe fun. There are 30 fairytale attractions for children from the age of 2. Also available here is the Śmiejżelki Energuś Roller Coaster, which moves at a speed of 50 km/h and has a height of 13 m. The route is just over 300 m away. 

Much calmer is the Circus Coaster, a mini coaster perfect for starting your adventure with these rushing monsters 🙂 Another scenic turn is the Happy Loops. Even the youngest children will love the Sissi Venetian arusela with beautiful horses or the Super Pompa carousel. The Jeep Safari ride among colorful animals is also fun! The children's carousel called Sky Ships is beautiful, while the Magic Fly ride is scenic. Crazy Bus is waiting for crazy kids🙂

Family Zone in Energylnadia

The Family Zone in Energylandia is designed for entire families, you will find here 17 attractions for everyone, including Roller Coastery RMF Dragon (75 km/h), Boomerang, Toffifee boats Gold Mine and water attractions - the very popular Splash Battle and Vikking Ride and my favorite attraction - Jungle Adventure, i.e. rafting on a winding river in a "pontoon" 🙂 A very similar attraction was created in 2020 in Legendia in Upper Silesia - Jaga Valley. Anaconda is also a water attraction, where you can go by boat from a great height.

Of course, everyone also loves cars, Moya Formula Autodrom awaits in this zone! And if you are afraid to try fast roller coasters live - it is worth visiting the Moya Planetarium, where you will take a virtual ride with a rushing coaster🙂 Monster House is also interesting - an interactive, modern house of fears, where you will shoot lasers.

Extreme Zone in Energylnadia

Energylandia is created for lovers of extreme emotions, which is why the Extreme Zone leads the way here. The name did not come from nowhere, energy and power are really waiting here - 10 attractions for the bravest daredevils, including:

• Hyperion - black monster, highest mega coaster in Europe, speed 142 km/h, height 77 m and drop 80 m
• Speed Water Coaster - also a record, the highest water roller coaster in the world
• Mayan - this roller coaster offers adventure with high 5G congestion
• Moya Formula - Guests' favorite roller coaster that speeds up to "hundred" in 2-3 seconds!
• Tsunami Drop
• Viking
• Apocalyptic
• Aztec Swing
• Space Gun and Space Booster

Dragon Castle in Energylnadia

Another zone of Energylandia is my favorite Dragon's Town - an extraordinary fantasy land. You will experience the atmosphere of stone castles and wooden huts as well as omnipresent dragons. This is the zone where the famous Zadar was created, but also other attractions:

• Zadra - the new wooden rollercoaster of the 2019 season. It is the world's tallest and fastest hybrid hypercoaster. Its speed is 121 km/h, height is over 63 m, and the length of the crossing is 1316 m. Not enough? feel it - 90 degrees of inclination 🙂
• Dragon Adventure cable car - a very sceniccable car moving slowly, a few meters above the ground.
• Frida and Draken - roller coasters that will appeal to both children and entire families
• Wonder Wheel mill wheel - a 53 meter high wheel with air-conditioned gondolas that work well in the heat. The 30 gondolas are nicely integrated into the Dragon's Fortress. It moves slowly, at a speed of 5.4 km/h, so you can admire the views 🙂 It takes 180 people at a time! You can ride with children of all ages, on your own from 120 cm.

Water Park in Energylnadia

The fifth Zone is Water Park Big Milk, Tropical Fun and Exotic Island and Bamboo Bay mega slides. The whole complex is the largest sky water park in Poland! This zone brings you to a tropical island with many pools, also with heated water, with a depth of 20 to 140 cm. The shallowest shower trays hide many water attractions, such as slides, small and large and various fountains. Everything is fabulously colorful and interesting, so even small children will find their place here. Deep pools are much less crowded and allow you to swim in peace, in beautiful scenery.

There are also several very tall slides, visible from almost every corner of Energylandia 🙂 And on the sandy beach around the pools there are thousands of sun loungers, atmospheric umbrellas from the thatched roof and intimate sun loungers behind the curtains. A very nice place, we were happy to take advantage of the local attractions! Of course, this area also offers catering and toilets.

Aqualantis in Energylnadia

Aqualantis is the latest, 6th zone of Energylandia, opened on July 14, 2021, Energilnadia's 7th birthday!This is another zone of Enegyland next to the Dragon's Town, where not only attractions are bet on, but on a wonderful, coherent whole, incredibly aesthetic and impressive! I really liked this land! 

Aqualantis is stylized as an ancient sunken city, more than 1000 people worked on it, but the effect is really wow! With the opening of the new zone, Abyssus - a spectacular roller coaster in Energylandia - had its premiere. It's the heart of Aqualantis, but the zone offers a total of 10 interesting attractions and a unique spectacle - Aqua Jump, i.e. stunt dives!

10 things to do in Aqualantis

• Abyssus - roller coaster for fans of strong impressions, from 140 cm with a guardian from 120 cm
• Light Explorer - family boomerang roller coaster from the Team, the queue goes on the track in one direction, and then goes backwards to the direction of travel
• Grotto Expedition - a quiet family cruise on sightseeing boats, whose route leads through mysterious caves and a magnificent lagoon located outside the city, is the only attraction in this area for children under 100 cm high
• Burning Engine - a carousel where children will sit behind the wheel of a fire engine and try to extinguish the fire, for children from 100 cm
• Submarine Dive - carousel stylized for small submarines, for children from 100 cm
• Magic Pump - interactive carousel for children from 100 cm
• Stormy Ship - a family carousel in the form of a rotating ship
• Tidal Wave Twister - rotating roller coaster, from 140 cm
• Water Works - water playground
• Aqua Jump - stunt andacrobatic jumps into the water from a high tower

Aqualantis also invites you to the market - a place of meetings, rest and relaxation, where they also invite points with snacks and sweets.

Abyssus - shocking roller coaster

Abyssus is a new round in Energylandia that is sure to become a hit! It is a Double Launch Coaster of the Shockwave type, consisting of 90,500 elements, it is enough to say that it is about as much as it would be used to build five Eiffel Tower. The weight of the entire roller coaster structure is 815 tons, the same as two medium-sized space rockets! One car weighs 7 tons and takes 16 people at the same time. But this is not the end of the shocking information. 

The queue does not bring up in the traditional way, slowly, because the lift has been replaced by an electromagnetic shot. Abyssus power is 5210 hp, it is 7 Formula car engines at once! Therefore, the Abyssus has a maximum speed of 100 km/h! The driving track is 1316 meters long, with 5 spectacular inversions, numerous turns and quick level changes. You will ascend here to a height of more than 38 meters. And although you are flying over the waters and fountains, you will not be wet, but you will certainly remember this ride well🙂

Aqualantis storyline!

The plot of the new land of Energylandia refers to the ancient Atlantis, which one day was completely flooded by a huge wave. Explorers found the ruins of the metropolis and built a pump station, a mapping of which can be found in Abyssus. Roller Coaster is stylized as a pumping station used to drain water from the sunken kingdom. With every step, you will enter into the history of this wonderful city. The streets are stylized as an ancient sea land, and everything is done with the utmost care. Aqualantis is a place where amazing attractions await the whole family, and an additional advantage is its charm.

Another Energylandia zone - Sweet Valley

Soon, the 7th zone of Energylnadia, with the sweet name Sweet Valley, will open. It is addressed to the youngest guests of the Park, but of course everyone is welcome here, especially the gracious ones. They will gladly enter the land of cookies, muffins and crispy pastries!

Roller coaster Choco Chip Creek

There will also be roller coasters in this zone, as always. The main one in Sweet Valley will be called Choco Chip Creek and has a route as long as 1200 meters. An interesting fact is that it consists of a train resembling a steam locomotive and 3 carriages. As a result, it takes up to 32 people at a time. This is an extremely high bandwidth! Moving it, you move at a speed of up to 55 km/h and reach a height of 16.5 meters. 

Roller coaster Honey Harbout

The smaller roller costaer in Sweet Valley will be called Honey Harbout. Its altitude is 12 meters at the beginning, then a few turns and turns, and quite a lot of speed - 46 km/h. The entire route is 254 meters long. This roller coaster will also be available for toddlers, so 
you can really spend some family time here!

Vienna Carousel

The Vienna carousel could not be missing in the land for children. The charming Candy Carousel will stand in one of the courtyards of the new Sweet Valley zone, is two-level and can take up to 50 people at a time.

Special shows in Energylandia

Energylandia is also a spectacular spectacle among them Extreme Energylandia with a team of stuntmen driving super fast cars, including on two wheels! I highly recommend, emotions reach the zenith 🙂 Musicals and shows on the theater stages, where the most famous dancers, acrobats and circus performers present, for example, a lightning show using fire and pyrotechnics, are also waiting for families. All zones and attractions are available as part of one ticket to the Park.

Restaurants in Energylandia

You will meet restaurants and food outlets in Energylandia every step of the way. There are at least a few in each zone. Particularly noteworthy is the Hall od Columns restaurant in the Aqualantis zone. Garden Gourmet opened here in June 2023. It is a brand that has been in Poland since 2020 and wants to make Poles fall in love with plant-based food. I must admit that the burgers made by them are fantastic and it is difficult to realize that they are meatless. There is also a children's menu.

For children, Mr. A pancake in Baikoland. It is elegant and spacious in the Royal Restaurant, located right at the entrance, near Hyperion.

The Formula Wheel invites Formula Restaurant with casseroles and Italian cuisine. Great place, also offering desserts. On the other hand, you can enjoy Asian cuisine at the Orient Express, near Monster House. It also invites many places for coffee, such as Queen Coffe before the entrance, or Vienna Cafe just behind it, with a view of Hyperion. 

Ice cream is especially worth visiting the Ice Cream Lab - an alchemist's ice cream parlor near Monster House. And I also love the colorful smoothies at the Green Cafe in Dragon's Land.

Winter Energylandia

But that's not all, Energylandia is also open in winter, as the Winter Kingdom! From November 2020 to January 2021, the park was illuminated by millions of lamps, and the aisles were filled with the smell of gingerbread. All attractions worked as standard, and there was also an ice rink, snowmobiles, Christmas workshops, Santa's village and a Christmas market. This will happen every year!

Energylandia - history

The construction of the Energylandia Amusement Park began in 2013, and its opening took place in 2014! Already in the following year - 2015, 3 roller coasters were opened here: The first one, in May was Roller Coaster Energuś, in June Roller Coaster RMF Dragon and in September Roller Coaster Mayan. In 2016, the red Roller Coastera Formula (which since 2020 has been Moya Formula) was opened, and on Energylandia's second birthday - Water Park! 

The next year, 2017, is Circus Zone and Roller Coaster Boomerang. The opening of the 2018 season is an unusual Speed Water Coaster, but this year there is also Tropical Fun and black, visible from far away Mega Coaster Hyperion (for Energylandia's 4th birthday). In 2019, Energylandia was enriched with a new, beautiful and very climatic Dragon's Fort zone with the legendary Zadra - a wooden, extreme roller coaster. In 2021, the Aqualantis zone opened with the shocking Abyssus Roller Coaster!

In 2022, the huge Wonder Wheel Mill Wheel opened, and the Water Park was further expanded with Bamboo Bay. Now it is the largest sky water zone in Poland. Another Sweet Valley zone is also being created.

Recurring events in Energylandia

In Energylandia, we can count on interesting outdoor events throughout the year, which attract numerous tourists. The first party of the season is the Kinder Party on the occasion of Children's Day, Energylandia's Birthday is organized in July, the entire Magic Night cycle takes place on holiday, in September Energylandia invites you to Oktoberfaest and Polish Golden Autumn, in October to Halloween Time and Halloween Night, and in winter, as a novelty from 2020 - Winter Kingdom!

Energylandia - plans for the future!

The current zones of Energylandia are still not all, in the future the facility is to occupy an area of as much as 200 hectares! The plans include, among others, the expansion of new thematic lands, including new roller coasters. In addition, there will also be many other attractions, an indoor water park, restaurants, as well as a hotel. There is no doubt that Poles have fallen in love with roller coasters and are increasingly reaching for this type of entertainment. Zator is already attracting millions of guests from all over Europe who are looking for an unusual way to spend their free time.

Getting to Energylandia 

There are several ways to get to Energylandia.

• By coach - special Energylandia coaches will take you to the Park, among others, from Krakow, Katowice, Wrocław, Warsaw and Bydgoszcz. In high season, the coaches depart in the morning and leave for the place of return in the afternoon. Of course, this is a paid option
• By train - in the 2022 season, superREGIO launched a direct train from Kraków Główny to Zator.
  Arrival and departure times are adjusted to the opening hours of our Park. There are daily and weekend courses. Paid option
• By car - this is the easiest way to get to Energylandia. From the nearest A4 motorway from Katowice: at the Balin junction, follow the signs to Oświęcim, then Krakow and Wadowice, alternatively the route through Oświęcim. From Krakow: at the Rudno junction, follow the signs to Alvernia and then towards Oświęcim and Wadowice, paid parking. Electric cars can be charged on site
• Ciuchcia Energylandii - transports tourists from the railway station in Zator to the gates of Energylandia. It can also be used by guests from more distant corners of the car park.
   

For several years, Zatorland - a complex of amusement parks with dinosaurs and unique mythology - has also been inviting tourists to Zator.
