Długopole-Zdrój health resort
Długopole-Zdrój is the smallest health resort in the region, and at the same time the most charming. At least many people think so. We are inclined to agree. It is not very old, and this is because the alum mine was originally created here. The year of its foundation is 1563. Alum was used in dyeing, it is the element that makes the color bite into the material. Thanks to this, the robes of rich people did not look like faded rags after the first wash. The mine collapsed over time, which was caused by water. Over time, however, it was discovered that this water has a characteristic taste and is worth using.
The Długopole-Zdrój health resort has three sources of mineral waters. These are the waters of Emilia, Kazimierz and Renata. It is bicarbonate oxides with clinically relevant content of iron, potassium, magnesium, sodium and calcium. They are distinguished by a pleasant taste and stimulate digestion. They treat liver diseases, diabetes, gastric diseases, rheumatism, cardiovascular diseases, neurosis and asthma. There are 3 health resort hospitals for patients: Mieszko, Ondraszek, Dąbrówka, Fortuna sanatorium and a spa park with a pump room. An interesting treatment attraction in Długopol are the so-called dry carbon dioxide baths. This is a unique treatment that improves circulation and lowers pressure used in cardiac diseases.

Where to eat and sleep? Accommodation in Długopol - Zdrój
After leisurely walks in the charming park, we stopped at the Eliza Manor, where not only comfortable beds were waiting for us, but also games and fun. It reminded me of the time when ping-pong was played at school. There was also a very pleasant relaxation in the pool and sauna, and there is also a SPA area for those who want to relax.
They feed very tasty in Eliza's Manor. We tasted local trout from the Kłodzko Basin. He was delicious and melted in his mouth. Potato pancakes with Hungarian or mushroom sauce are also delicious. Smoked meats are also smoked on site, which can be seen when eating breakfast or ordering a board of meats.

A short history of Długopole Zdrój
The first mentions of Długopol-Zdrój come from 1346, when the village was given to the von Glubos family from Szczerba. In the 16th century, an alum mine was established here, used in painting. It was not until the 19th century that the Spa developed, thanks to iron springs and mineral waters. In 1875, a railway was brought here, and in 1946 it was recognized as a Polish health resort, under today's name. It used to be Bad Langenau. Since the 1950s, Długopole-Zdrój has specialized in the treatment of liver and rheumatism.
