8 beautiful Polish cities by the sea for an unforgettable holiday!

Hel - one of the most beautiful beaches for holiday chill, Sealarium, fortifications and sunset on Mount Libek
This is where Poland starts, so we will start our recommendations with Hel. The Hel Cypress has one of the most beautiful beaches in Poland. The water flows from three sides, the sand is fine, and the nearby beautiful pine forests encourage walks among the numerous fortification remains from the 20th century. There are also sandy beaches in the city itself, but these are crowded in high season. It is definitely worth visiting the famous Fokarium (PLN 20/person). A seal farm whose main goal is to care for seals and educate people not to harm them. But of course, funny shows with these unusual animals are very popular, which we will show later in the text.
However, it is worth escaping from the hustle and bustle to the unique nature, such as the wonderful Libek Mountain. The highest dune of the entire Spit. The sun was already setting, the world was beautiful, and we were all alone here! The long wanderings around Helska Kosa in the glow of the setting sun is something that will be remembered for a long time!

Łeba - wide beach, moving dunes SPN and Sea Park
Łeba is another popular resort where you can have fun all the time. Every year, crowds flock to the promenade and the wide coastline. However, there are two real uniquenesses here and it is worth choosing this place for them. One of them is Sea Park (PLN 99/person). A seal farm where guests are entertained by dexterous and playful California seals and tails. Their shows are a lot of fun for the whole family. However, the unquestionable gem and what delights us the most here is the Słowiński National Park (PLN 10/person). Probably the most unique and unspeakably beautiful. At least once in your life, you have to walk around the Łącko Dunes to feel like in an endless desert. A slightly less popular option, which we highly recommend, is the Czołpino Dune. Although slightly smaller, it does not give way to the previous one. And you will find more natural attractions here, because fantastic coastal lakes are recommended on the Łebski Coast.

Kołobrzeg - history, lighthouse, pier, Mariana seagulls and military
Kołobrzeg is next on our list. It is much more than just a holiday classic, because it is an interesting city with a rich history. So if you like to walk among the atmospheric and nice buildings, take a look at the charming market with the town hall and the Gothic basilica. Certainly, not only children will enjoy the funny seagull figurines, called Marians, scattered around the city. They will take you to a long coastal avenue crowned by a pier and one of the most recognizable lighthouses. Kołobrzeg is also a treat for military fans. In the charming fishing port, a maritime open-air museum (PLN 32/person) with original military units and exhibits from World War II was hidden.

Puck - pier, marina, Witchcraft, Sławutowo Settlement, Rzucewo Castle and Seal Hunters Settlement
This position is our most secluded proposition. Puck combines the advantages of an atmospheric city with intimacy, of course, as far as it is possible by the Polish sea. The leisurely, somewhat sleepy market, where you will find age-old buildings, is complemented by a nice promenade with a pier, a marina and a beach. It is also a historical place where Poland was sworn in by sea. But the main strength is the surrounding attractions, such as colorful and fairy-tale Wizards (PLN 99/person), which your children will love. The Sławutowo settlement (PLN 39/person) is a paradise for lovers of stories about pre-Christian times, and the nearby Rzucewo with the neo-Gothic palace and the Seal Hunters' Settlement is an extremely romantic corner of the Puck Bay. A little further away, you can also visit the kingdom of birds and plants in the Beka Reserve, which protects salty, coastal meadows.

Gdańsk - wonderful architecture, history and atmospheric alleys for walks
And then it was time for Gdańsk. Next to Krakow, the most beautiful city in Poland in our opinion. And because it lies by the sea, it could not be missing in this list of holiday destinations. Here, history and architecture bring you to your knees, especially when you visit the city with a good guide (by the way, we greet Ms. Asia Kruszewska). The atmosphere of this city can captivate even those who do not like cities on a daily basis. Charming streets here, with the famous Mariacka at the forefront, ask for leisurely walks, preferably in the morning. Then the tenement houses on the empty pavement look like from a fairy tale. And this amazing panorama of the Motława River with the Crane and Granary Island. This is not a classic resort with screens and waffles, but you come to Gdańsk for climate, history, flavors and great walks.

Międzyzdroje - beach, Baltic Miniature Park, Woliński PN paths and views from Grodzisk Lubin
Międzyzdroje reigns supreme on our west coast. Many go here in search of holiday craziness. Children will certainly appreciate visiting the Baltic Miniature Park (PLN 38/person) or the pleasant Aquarium (PLN 80/person). However, the city convinced us with the proximity of another national park. This is, of course, Woliński, offering beautiful walks around Kawcza Góra, Gosań Hill or other prepared paths with viewpoints. There is also a show bison farm, and for the sunset, be sure to go to Grodzisk Lubin, where one of the most beautiful views of the Szczecin Lagoon awaits. The panorama is spectacular here!

Szczecin - castle, Sienna Square and boulevards on the Oder River
And since Szczecin has already set sail, many believe that this city also lies by the sea. It was once the capital of the Duchy of Pomerania, so it is the first city in the comparison with the castle as the main attraction. Of course, we recommend visiting it. It also captivates the atmospheric Sienny Market Square surrounded by colorful tenement houses. After the seaside climate, you need to go for spectacular boulevards stretching along the Oder River. They pass through observation terraces called the Chrobry Embankments. In terms of nature, the area is attracted by the Lower Odra River, which, moreover, has a good chance of becoming another national park in Poland.

Władysławowo - Butterfly House, Avenue of Sports Stars and 2 lanterns!
We will finish our list again near the Hel Spit, because in Władysławowo. This popular resort on the Baltic Sea attracts more entertaining tourists and amateurs of water madness, but also sports enthusiasts, thanks to the famous Avenue of Stars. Children will certainly be happy to see large, colorful butterflies in the Port up close, or even very close (Butterfly House PLN 28/person). In the break between maturing, we recommend a curiosity. Do you like lighthouses? In Rozew you will find two of them next to each other. In this place there was once a point considered to be the furthest point to the north of Poland, but more accurate measurements settled it in the nearby Jastrzębia Góra, which is also worth visiting.
